Trim Cut Lawncare

Services

Everything we do —in plain English.

We’ll quote any of these on-site. The price you get is the price you pay — no surprise add-ons, no upsells.

  • Lawn Maintenance

Same morning every week. Mow, edge, line-trim, blow walks and drive clean — no ruts in the turf, no clippings on the patio.

Weekly or bi-weekly mowing on a fixed schedule. Sharp blades, height adjusted by season so your Bermuda or St. Augustine keeps moisture through Texas summers. Edged at every visit, fences and posts string-trimmed, walks and drive blown clean before we leave. We rotate cut patterns so the lawn doesn’t track ruts in the same line week after week.

  • Hedge & Topiary Trimming

Crisp lines on boxwood, ligustrum, holly, and ornamental shapes. The kind of edges an HOA inspector walks past without writing anything down.

Hand-shaped hedges with a string line and a measure when the geometry calls for it — not eyeballed. Boxwood, dwarf yaupon, ligustrum, Indian hawthorn, and the occasional spiral or globe. We bag and haul clippings the same day so beds aren’t left a mess. Twice-a-year shaping for slow growers, four-times for vigorous species.

  • Flower Bed Maintenance

Hand-weeded beds, refreshed mulch at the right depth, perennials pruned by the plant calendar — not the mowing route.

Beds pulled by hand (no glyphosate near edibles unless you ask), seasonal pruning timed by plant rather than the visit schedule, and a fresh hardwood top-up every spring and fall. We pull last year’s clumped mulch first if it needs it, edge each bed with a clean spade line, and re-stake any leaning perennial before we leave.

  • Leaf Cleanups

Live oak shedding through April, post oak and elm in the fall — we haul it all off, beds and gutters cleared from the ground.

Full-property leaf removal in spring and fall. Backpack blowers and rakes through beds, then bagged or tarped to the truck — nothing piled at the curb to drift back. Gutters cleared from the ground where reachable; we flag anything that needs a ladder so you can call your roofer. Two visits in November and one cleanup pass in late March covers most Southlake yards.

  • Mulch Installation

Hardwood, cedar, or dyed black — hand-spread to a consistent two-to-three-inch depth around plants and trees.

Bulk-delivered mulch, hand-spread to a consistent depth with a clean edge against the lawn. We pull last year’s matted layer when it needs it instead of stacking on top, and we leave the trunk flares of trees uncovered — no volcano mulching.

  • Edging & Bed Lines

Power-edged borders along walks and drives, hand-cut spade edges around beds. The detail Southlake notices first.

Sharp, deliberate edges along every walk, drive, and bed line. Power edger for hard surfaces; spade-cut bed lines twice a year so beds keep their shape and the mower has a clean turn. Final blower pass keeps grit off the patio and street.

  • Sprinkler Tune-Ups

Spring start-up, summer head-by-head adjustment, fall blow-out — and the broken head you keep meaning to call about.

Seasonal start-up and shutdown, head replacements, broken-line repairs, and controller programming for two-day-a-week Southlake watering rules. We walk every zone with you so you know what’s hitting what. Texas state-licensed irrigation work referred out to a partner when the job needs it.

  • Landscaping & Sod

New beds, sod patches, small plant installs — the in-between work between weekly maintenance and a full landscape architect.

Bermuda, zoysia, or St. Augustine sod laid in a brick-pattern with tight seams, rolled in, and a printed watering schedule for the first three weeks. Small bed builds and plant swaps. For full architectural design or large hardscape, we partner with a designer in Southlake and project-manage from there.

Most weekly customers add cleanups, mulch, and the odd hardscape job — there’s usually a flat-rate way to handle that.
